Routes in Australia / New South Wales / Cardiff
From Cardiff out to the highest hill in the area, Mt Sugarloaf. Reasonably long but steady climb and only a total climb of a few hundred metres.
Could be linked with the Newcastle to Cardiff ride if you wish.
The easiest route to get from Cardiff into Town with a small incline to get over Lookout Rd but then relatively flat all the way. Some back streets used to avoid traffic.
Just a lap around Bute Park in Cardiff
Starting alongside the Afon Taf up to and across Blackweir
A varied route taking in some of the city, the bay, the barrage, Penarth and finally to Sully Island (we didn't make it to the island as the tide was in). Pretty steep in parts (on the Penarth side of the barrage), flat as a pancake in others.
