A little ride I decided to to do the other day to see if I could make it up the climb I so miserably failed at a few years ago.

Ride to Glenelg, then up the old freeway then to Hawthorndene

Just a warm up /warm down circuit - 8km or easy riding and decent speeds down Reynell Rd.

I always do this forth and back

Take care going dowen Flagstaff Hill Road - and then get ready for the long haul up beside the freeway...

Nice ride, slightly hilly.

Quick ride to Upfront Bike Shop on O'Halloran Hill....

Nice easy hit out for a weekend morning !!

Good ride for practicing some hills, particularly next to the freeway. The cycle path on the way home is good, but Reynell Rd is a bit of grind at the end of the journey.

forty k behind the the Okaparinga gorge - trying to be relatively flat. easy climbs. Asphalt is not the best quality...maybe a C grade where F you would not want to ride on.  Traffic is so much better once off hwy57 and delightfully missing once off Kangarilla Rd.
