Beginning at the Adelaide Oval, via the south coast, into Victoria, winding along the Great Ocean Road, accross Queenscliff Sorrento by Ferry, and finally finishing at the MCG...why couldn't we have just won the ashes!!

Day 1_T/T-Glenelg Port Ride
Flat 60km Loop Ride to stretch the legs
Always very windy at the new Port

- Adelaide City
- Glenelg
- Esplanade and beachfront/coastline
- Old port of Adelaide
Day 2_T/T Tour - North Adelaide Hills & Environs
Hilly 125km ride through the northern end of the Adelaide Hills and countryside.
Points of Interest:
- Climb to Norton Summit
- Climbs and decent through wooded Basket Range
- Decent to Lobethal
- Historic Mt Torrens
- Morning Tea at Mt Pleasant
- Wind through Lower Valley Road
Hilly 100km ride through the southern end of the Adelaide Hills and countryside.
Points of interest:
- Good climb up Greenhill Road to Summertown to start the day
- Descend into Balhannah
- Ride through Hahndorf today
- Scenic gorges as you approach Clarendon
- Clarendon - Morning Tea at the best Bakery in SA
- Steady climb out of Clarendon and into Belair
- Descend out of Belair (Stop at the Lookout)
- Fast flat finish into Adelaide City.
Day 4_T/T_Barossa Ride
165 km undulating Ride from Adelaide to the Barossa Valley town of Angaston to watch the last 30 kilometres Stage 1 of the 2011 TDU
Points of interest:
- Ride out of Adelaide on the scenic Gorge Road
- Undulating through Kersbrook and Williamstown
- Long down hill run for morning tea in Lyndoch
- Undulating through to Tanunda and Angaston
- A number of wineries worth visiting in the Barossa
- Lunch in Angaston
- Watch TDU Stage 1 Finish in Angaston
- Ride back to Adelaide via Gawler / Main North Rd
Day 6_T/T_Doughnuts in Hahndorf Ride
105km Hilly start and finish ride through the central part of the Adelaide hills and Environs to watche the finish of Stage 3 of the TDU in Stirling.
Points of interest:
- Climb out of Adelaide along Montacute Rd
- Descend the Corkscrew onto Gorge Rd and into Cudlee Creek
- Potential for short break in Historic Lobethal
- Flat ride out west to Nairne and back into Hahndorf for morning tea
- Steady climb to Aldgate and into Stirling (A number of tourist destinations along this stretch)
- Climb out of Stirling and then a long descent alongside the Princess Hwy into Adelaide
Day 9_T/T_Glenelg Coffee Ride
30km flat recovery ride from Adelaide to Glenelg for breakfast by the bay
Day 7_T/T_Belair and beyond
130km Hilly ride over the southern end of the Adelaide hills and out west to Strathalbyn to watch TDU Stage 4 Finish
Option to ride to Checkers Hill to watch KOM
Day 5_T/T_ Bay Views Ride
60km Hilly but short ride to recover from previous days ride
Ride feature:
- Long flat start
- Solid climb with good view of the bay
- Great descent and flat into Adelaide
