Cycle Tour 2009. 

Sunday - 8 March 2009.

Start: Hertzog Boulevard, Cape Town. Finish: Western Boulevard, Green Point, Cape Town.

The race follows a scenic 109 km cirular route from Cape Town down the Cape Peninsula. The start is in the city centre, following the M3 south to Muizenberg, then Main Road along the False Bay coast to Simon#s Town and Smitswinkel Bay. The route then crosses the peninsula and heads north along the Atlantic coast through Scarborough, Kommetjie, Noordhoek, Chapman Peak, Hout Bay, Suikerbossie hill, Camps Bay and ending in Gren Point.

I think this reflects the actual route.  If anyone remembers it better, let me know.

Circular route starting at Blenheim Palace and travelling out on smallish roads, mainly, out through the Cotswolds before returning to Blenheim. Note that this is not the official Sportive Route (2010) - possibly because with large numbers of cyclists the route shown here would create problems.  The main divergence is coming into Bourton on the Water (the official route turns left up the A429 before turning right at some traffic lights) to come into Bourton. There's also a minor difference at Great Rissington.

Flat route, best to ride in the morning.

Das legendäre Cape Argus mit der Strecke 2011.

Dies ist die Route des "Cape Argus Pick & Pay" Radrennens in Kapstadt, welches jedes Jahr im März stattfindet.

Eine Traumhafte Strecke die am Renntag komplett gesperrt ist.

Mein Tipp: Einmal sollte man die Cycle Tour mitgefahren sein!!!!!
