This is a lovely short circular route that leaves Clairvaux-Les-Lacs.

The first 12km are a long but easy climb upto just over 800m. This route follows the route des Cascades de l'herisson and at  various points offer splendid views across the valleys and the waterfalls.

The second half is a mildly hilly ride through some rural French villages, finishing with 3k on the main road.

An easy route into the Haute-Jura - I did this as a there and back between Clairvaux and Moirans - some fantastic scenery and on the way it is worth a detour to the Fruitiere 1900 which has some fantastic local products (signed from the road).

This is another stunning route around the lakes of the Jura Mountains. Starting and finishing in Clairvaux les Lacs the route starts by heading towards Pont de Poitte and then passes the Tour de la Meix, a beautiful village with a ruined castle. From there head across the Pont de la Pyle with lovely views from the bridge and then a short sharp climb for 4k up the other side to give stunning vies over the lakes. The road then drops off the mountains into Clairvaux again.
