(4 May 2009) Leaving Nice towards St-Pancrace, left onto the Chemin du Génie. Coffee in picturesque Vence and up the Col de Vence. Had a great lunch in Coursegoules after which we got caught out in a thunderstorm and decided to get down to the coast as fast as possible.
(5 May 2009) Leaving Nice towards Falicon, a classy part of town. Coffee in l'Escarène after the Col de Nice. Climbed to Col de Turini where it was very cold (so no circuit) and our intended route via Sospel was closed. Plotted a new route back via Gorges de la Vésubie, had lunch in Lantosque. Encountered another road block in St Jean la Rivière which diverted us onto the D19 via Levens and back to Nice.
(6 May 2009) An easy day, more or less along the coast. Do bring a small gear for the Chemin du Vinaigrier between the Corniche Moyenne and Grande Corniche! Coffee in La Turbie after the Col d'Eze, very relaxed Italian lunch in Ventimiglia and some sightseeing on the way back in Monaco where the F1 course was being built up.
(7 May 2009) Leaving Nice along the river, right towards Peille and the "Lance Col" otherwise known as Col de la Madone with a nice new road surface and markings counting down to the summit. Awful road surface on the descent, though. Lunch in sunny Sospel "Gateway to the Mercantour." After the Col de Braus a short drag up the Col de Nice, right towards Contes and down to the coast.

Der Großteil der Runde verläuft auf Verkehrsarmen Strecken. Es gibt immer wieder tolle Aussichten.
