0-6km: good paved road, moderate traffic between Sárvár and Csénye

6-14km: good paved road netween Csénye and Porpác, traffic almost non-existent

14-20km: gravel, good quality even in wet conditions. Quite OK for trekking/cross bikes

20-22km: poor dirt road until entering Pecöl

22-29km: good paved road, low traffic.

29-32km: good paved road, moderate traffic

32-33km: poor dirt road between Újmajor and Sarvar with lots of potholes, still, in dry weather you can ride with a roadbike on one track. In wet conditions, you may want to take the same road you left Sarvar

33-36km: good paved road within the boundaries of the town.

Kellemes környéken, javarészt a Rába árvízvédelmi töltésén vezető útvonal.

A 6. kilométernél hagyjuk el az aszfaltutat, 1/2-1/2 km mészkő-zúzalékos illetve földút szakasz után érünk a töltésre.

A folyó keleti partján a töltés kavicsos útja általában két nyomon járható, egyenletes, jó minőségű kb a 15. kilométerig, onnan valamivel lazább, nagyobb kavicsos, egészen az Ostffyasszonyfát és Uraiújfalut összekötői út hídjáig, illetve a nyugati parton a 22. kilométerig. Az út minősége itt ismét javul, és egészen jónak mondható egészen addig, amíg a 84-es utat nem keresztezi, innen 1/2 km-es gödrös földúton kell átzötykölődni az aszfaltozott útig Rábasömjénbe.

A forgalom az aszfaltos részeken is csekély, kivéve természetesen Sárvár belvárosát, illetve a Sárvár és Hegyközség közti párszázmézteres szakaszt, ahol azonban külön kerékpárossáv található az egyébként is széles úttesten.

A töltésen aztán nagy valószínűséggel már csak őzekkel, nyulakkal és fácánokkal találkozhatunk.

good quality paved road with moderate traffic, except for a 4km section between Nagysimonyi and Lánkapuszta (13-16km)

this section starts with an awful 100m part as the road before and after the railway crossing is made of uneven concrete blocks. it is followed by a few hundred meters of loose gravel but improves significantly when taking a left a few hundred meters later.

Beware of the sharp turn just before getting back to the paved road before Lánkapuszta - it's on a short but steep descent section and still on gravel.

Kristóffal a Farkaserdőre indultunk volna, de rally-verseny miatt le volt zárva az út Gércénél. Úgyhogy megittunk Káldon egy pofa sört, és hazamentünk nagyjából ugyanarra, amerre jöttünk. Pedig azt nem szeretjük annyira

Good paved roads with low traffic density on most part of the route, apart from:

- a 3km section between Sitke and Gérce that is a narrow, poor quality paved road,

- a nearly 1 km section connecting the Road nr 8 and the Petofi Sandor street in Kám that is a loose gravel path descending at around 3-5% (definitely not a place for road bikes).

- 1 km on road nr 8 between Vashosszúfalu and Bögöte where cycling is not allowed. To get around this section, you may opt leaving the paved road just before entering Vashosszúfalu (24 km) and taking the gravel road in south-west direction, crossing road nr 8 and getting back on the paved road between Bögöte and Hosszúpereszteg. Haven't tried that road though, so have no clue about its quality.

Good paved road until leaving Bejcgyertyános, then it is followed by an 8km long gravel section. It's quite OK.

Good, but narrow paved road follows until crossing main road 84, then comes a few hundred meters of really crappy mud road before entering Gérce.

Poor gravel/mud roads again upon leaving Gérce, instead of which you may take the paved road to Sitke after taking a right just after the 31 km mark.

Between Sitke and Sarvar it's a fine paved road.
