Da Bergamo alla Ciclovia della Valle Brembana per le vie meno trafficate.

From Bergamo Railway Station to Città Alta, passing by: Morla Green Way, Parco dei Colli, Sombreno, Madonna della Castagna, Città alta's Hills and Wall



Diversion on Day 2 Itinerary, only suitable for very strong cyclists. You'll climb one of the toughest uphill in bergamo area: "Colli di S. fermo": 10 kms uphill, over 700 mt. of vertical climb, average steep of 8.6%, maximum steep 18%. Very difficult uphill,  but fully satisfying. amazing views and beautidul downhill.



From the airport a short ride will take you into the Scanzo's vineyard, where Moscato Sweet red wine is produced. Then the route unrolls in ValCavallina, up to Casazza. Here a challenging uphill will take you to the top of Colle Gallo (cyclist's sanctuary). A nice downhill into the green, takes riders to the Val Seriana, here a nice bicycle path unrolls alogn Serio River almost to Bergamo city. A last, brief, effort will take you to the hotel, site in the outstanding medieval walled town of Bergamo "città alta".



Day 2 takes riders first up to the lower part of Val Brembana, then up to the green Val Brembilla, straight into the Bergamo's Mountains. Here a number of nice alpine villages has to be passed in a rolling up and down. We cycle across Valle Imagna and following very spectacular and quiet roads we ride back to Bergamo, approaching the last uphill to the old town from north, passing through the most exclusive villas and properties.
