Along SH1 then over the Weka Pass.

SH1 carries alot of commercial traffic but there is a reasonable cycleable verge most of the way.

A quieter option is to go via Rangiora but we decided to have lunch at Pegasus Bay.

Disapointingly there a no sea views from the road. The Weka Pass was super!
