An easy route from Matre along the Matre Valley. In between spectacular mountains. You pass cows and one of Norways best Bouldering areas.

You see waterfalls. I recomend to take the walk "Stegane" at Hummelfossen. An historical steep track/stairs to Hummelvatnet.

Start in Matre. Take the small road along the Matresfjorden. Remember light because the two small tunnels. In Haugsdalen you find houses and farms, and the river delta of Haugsdalen river. Follow the road to Kjetland where thee is an 100 year old stone bridge.

Possible to continue up the hills to "Fjon Mountain Church". If you want to bath, the Haugsdalen river have nice places.

Start at Stordalen Fjellstove (Mountain Lodge). Follw the construction road to west. Easy travel on open mountain area.

From Matre follow the mignificent old road outside the tunnels. The road from 1910 have "Stabbestein" as fenses. Be careful, spesially with small kids. If you come the other way drive slowly down becase of possible holes.

You have to use E39 at two places: Haugsvær and before Instefjorden.

At Brekke you find shops and Brekkestranda Fjord Lodge. Later you pass Botnen Camping. Thake the ferry fra Rutledal. At Solund the area has totaly changed before you reach Hardbakke and "Internatet" lodge.

Bike from mountains, deep valleys out to the coast.

Challenging route with four mountain pass, around the majestetic Mountain area Stølsheimen.

Lots of culture, fjords, fishingarea, mountains along the route. Big variations.

From Vik to Ortnevik you take the ferry. Look up timetable before traveling.
