Without a extra Permission it isn't allowed to stay in a 7km-zone parallel to the border.

With a good map you'll find the way from Mamonovo to the Berlinka (the old Reichsautobahn 1 from Berlin to Königsberg). I think it's worth to see this technical monument.

Very silent and sometimes very lonely (esp. parallel the border).

Very bad roads and traffic in Kaliningrad

To enter Russia, you need a visa.

Cycled in Summer 2008, for the border I needed 1 Hour
