Grab the train from Girona to Vilajuiga and explore Cap de Creus before heading back to Figueres for the train. A lunch stop in Cadaques is highly recommended while the road from Roses to Figueres is a busy one - either ride back to Vilajuiga or look for the right-hand cut-offs after Roses which offer some respite from the traffic.
