Routes in Schweiz - Suisse - Svizzera / Vaud / Constantine
My first bike ride in Cornwall doing a loop around the Lizard taking in pretty villages such as Gweek, Helford and Mullion. The first part was very hilly and something I am not normally used to in Suffolk!
There is a few small single track roads which are also windy which can get busy in the summer so you can't really get a decent average speed even going down hill and there is lots of them. There are also 2 sections on bridleway. My touring bike coped fine but you may need to get of and walk or find an alternative route if you do it on a race bike.
My average speed of 8.8mph was a bit worrying as I am doing LEJOG and need to be doing over 10 at least! However, I figured I should be okay as I wasn't overly fatigued at the end of the ride and I should be able to pick up more speed on the main roads especially on the downhill sections! Plus I comfortably overtaken 2 cyclists on the main road section who didn't look like they were travelling too slowly.
