John O'Groats to Lands End. 10 days. One gear.

At the moment we are thinking of doing Kirkstone Pass we know we could find less hilly route around Kendal but we feel we have to do Kirkstone. We may have different thoughts when we get near it!
This was my 8 day route from John o Groats to Lands End done on 2-9April 2010.
Scotland was good but the trek through England was more about timing rather than scenery. There are nicer routes but this was the shortest I could come up with. A30 was a grind.

Day 1 JOGLE route.

This is John O'Groats to Lands End as fast and as short as possible.
Start: John O'Groats at 08.30am
- 1st stop: 10.30 at Loch Hempriggs for morning tea.
- 2nd stop: 1pm Just before Berridale ready for the climb after lunch.
- 3rd stop: 4pm at Victoria Road right by the beach for afternoon tea ready for the last leg of the day.
Staying at Glen Morangie for the night and will hopefully arrive by 7pm.

JoGLE Day 1: a light day with 10mil from Wick to JoG, and 30mil from JoG to Lybster
