Routes in United States / California / Highland

This is a great route for the Super Sprint & Kids Course. It starts right off with a steep 15% climb out of the Transition Area #1 from the swim. Once you get past that first 500' of the course. Then it turns into a steady climb of about 3-7% to the 2.5 mile mark.

Hit this point it's all down hill from here. You can litterally cost back to the Transition 2 location or race back reaching speeds of 40-50 miles an hour your choice.

If you have time to look up there are great views of the country side along the route.

Don't forget to check out the profile you can check elevations along the course by clicking on the profile it's self.

This is a county road but the only traffic on it is people coming in and out of the park.

A challanging ride for a triathlon. The course (25.2 miles) has a couple of steep sections, but primarily it has long climbs (miles long) of 5-7% slopes. The course is pretty balanced between up and down hill with flats only being on S.T.H. '80'

Times with wind from the west ranged from 1hour 15 min. to 2 hours in 2010 to complete this section of the Triathlon.
