Great route on a hot day. Corte Madera Creek climb is shaded, not too steep, and a nice downhill on the return. Watch for opposing traffic, as the road up the creek is very narrow. If you want a real test of your climbing, return by taking a left on Joaquin and left on Lake and return to Alpine Road via Los Trancos Road.
A decent road training ride in Mountain View / Cupertino.
