This course was once a race course and makes a great training ride and very scenic. Few cars some dairy trucks. Parking at Helen putnam requires a fee and they will ticket you.Since I'm not using the park!  I often find a pullout along the road as there are many places to begin this route. For example starting the ride from where the star is mounted is a lot of fun.

spring hill rough road...most of the ride has little traffic...watch the occasional milk or manure trucks.
