Flat and on street until you get to the Canyon Road which is a constant climb to the top.

If you are doing this on a Sunday there is a Farmer's market near the start if you want to load up on fruit.



This is an East-Bound Commuter Route from the beach at Ocean Park to Cedar-Sinai and vicinity.  For origins and destinations farther north, Santa Monica Boulevard is probably preferred.
