Eventually you will be able to take W River Rd almost the entire way but there is construction right now near the Coon Rapids Dam Area.

Near Elm Creek Park Reserve via trail corridor to North Hennepin Community College.  Can take all paved paths and sidewalks.

Mostly trails and paths.  The only place were you absolutely have to take the street is 85th from East River Road past Northtown Mall.
