This route starts and ends in Mallorytown.  It follows Cty Rd #2 with good paved shoulders NE to Butternut Bay, then the Thousand Islands Parkway route to Rockport, the Escott-Rockport Road to Cty Rd #2, and then return to Mallorytown.

There is a general store with a washroom on Quabbin Rd in Mallorytown, with parking on the street or lot.

There are also facilities at Browns Bay Park on the Parkway (concession, washrooms, swimming), a general store in Mallorytown Landing, and restaurants in Rockport.

The loop can be done either way around. Alternative start/end locations include Rockport, Mallorytown Landing and Browns Bay Park.
