Routes in United States / New York / Youngstown

A great scenic flat route through peach orchards and vineyards. Only one hill, up Taylor Road. The course finishes fast and flat along the Niagara Parkway back into the centre of the Old Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake.

There and back route from Niagara on the Lake to Fort Erie and back again following the Niagara Parkway

Here is a nice flat and fast route that stays away from traffic and has plenty of great scenery. The start and finish are at the Cenotaph (clock tower) on Queen Street, Niagara-on-the-Lake. Have a nice cool beer on the patio of Cork's right beside the Cenotaph!

This rouyte is all paved, and quite traffic-free, except for the brief 2-3 km around Niagara Falls. The route is well marked aqnd flat, except for the ride up the escarpment at Queenston which is not too long. This not MY route, but one that has been created and published for a few years. More information is avaialble at www.niagararegion.ca/government/initiative/gncr/default.aspx.

A great way to spend the day on a nice paved route with minimal traffic. Mainly flat, except for a brief hill at Queenston.
