Start is the State Park Information of the "Franconia Notch" (I-93; Exit 34a). Fllow the bike path up to the noth. The bike path merges into road '3' in direction to twin montain. In Bretton woods go either on 302 directly to Barlett or go a view kilometer into direction mt washington. Take a rigth (clinton road) back to 302. Once in Barlett arrived you take a rigth up the Bear Notch road to the first pass (heigth 500m, diff. 300m). Following the route down to the "Kanc". Go rigth and follow the 112 (Kancamagus Highway) to Lincoln. It's 16 km up to the pass at 916m (2890 feet) and from the pass to Lincoln again 16km (10 miles). In Lincoln take a right (2nd traffic light) to the Franconian Notch.
It's easy but long.
