This is (for most people) 2-day route throught the southern hills of east Slovakia ending in Tokaj - city after which the whole area is named and famous because of high quality wine.
Route starts at Košice and goes right to the Ždaňa around river named Hornád. From there 3rd. class road with little traffic to Skároš. From there it is gradual climb under hill Veľký Milič. Along the route there is a few great views and without clouds you can spot even High Tatras. You will end up on the quite busy road between Rákoš and Slanec. After turn right just before the downhill you're back at the car free cyclepath and will go little higher to have some more views to the other side of Slánske hills. You can have a little detour on the way to the Izra lake, it't just 1km off the route.
After descent into Kalša you turn right and just enojoy not so hilly eastern villages. To enjoy this part go there at the time of crop harvesting.
From Michaľany you are in the Tokaj contry and in any village you can find traditional wine cellar and trust me, every one with own sort of wines. This apply to all the villages and towns from Miachaľany to Tokaj no matter if you are on Slovak on Hungarian side.
After crossing border you are all the way on roads with almost no traffic and have allways an separated paved cycle route alongside busiest roads.
