Begin your route heading south on Nicollet Ave. to the Midtown Greenway on ramp. The ramp is located next to a car wash just past W. 28th St. Once on the Greenway, head east towards the Mississippi River.
At the end of the Greenway (W. River Pkwy.), proceed south on W. River Pkwy. to the Lake St. bridge. Cross the bridge, Lake St. becomes Marshall Ave. At the first stop light (Otis Ave.) turn right onto Otis Ave and follow this up to E. River Rd. This little short cut brings you over to Summit Ave. more quickly, avoids a lot of traffic and will save your legs from the long climb up Marshall Ave. Otis will hit Exeter, turn right to meet up with E. River Rd.
Turn left on E. River Rd. to meet up with Cretin. Right on Cretin, proceed 1 block to Summit Ave. and turn left (east).
Follow Summit Ave. to Kellog Blvd. (just past the St. Paul Cathedral). Turn right onto to Kellog Blvd.
Follow Kellog Blvd. down the hill towards downtown St. Paul and prepare to turn left onto W. 7th St. The stop light at Kellog and W 7th will make it easier to make this transition.
Follow W. 7th St. to Wabasha. Wabasha is a ONE WAY going the opposite direction that you want to go. You can either (1) walk your bike from W. 7th St. and Wabahsa to your destination, or (2) turn right onto St. Peter St. from W. 7th St. and take that down to 6th St. E., turn left onto 6th and proceed to Wabasha, turning left again onto Wabahsa and ending at your destination.
