Route Hamburg-Garding-Hamburg  

Fairly flat terrain, lots of head wind!!!

From Handburg the track follows the Northern banks of the river Elbe towards the mouth. Via Glueckstatt it follows the shore line towards Brunsbuettel where it crosses the "Kaiser-Wilhelm-Channel". Heading further North and passing Wesselburen, the hometown of Hebbel, Garding is reached after approx 177km. It is now to decided whether to stay overnight or continue. The track then runs further inland first into Friedrichstadt and then Schalkenholz where a Falkner shows his birds. Just a few more k's before the small picturesque town of Kellinghusen invites for a last stop before you run into Hamburg!
