Unfortunately there is no longer the youth hostel in Chester.

LEJOG Day 6 (15 day route) - Bridges YH to ChesterYH

A lovely quite country route following the Welsh / English border. A climb to start the day and then pretty flat. Very busy traffic wise as you enter Chester but a lovely historic city
