Route Al Pewsey's 15 day Lands End to John O'Groats via The Isle of Arran  

Coming from America mid may to do John O'Groats trail. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Looking for scenic route we have a month to complete. May trade a beer in a pub for some info Thanking you in advance

Hi. Have a look at the website http://www.pewseys.co.uk , this should give you lots of help and avice on the trip. There is not= set trail as such, just a start and an end, how you get between those 2 points is up to you. This is just the route we did which,where possible, avoids major roads. As we did it on roadbikes though we stuck to roads as opposed to forest trails. Their is a National Cycle Network in the UK with lots of cyle routes on and off road.
