After the first short stretch from Port d' Alcudia to Pollenca, this there-and-back route is one for the climbers. It follows the Ma10 up a long, steady 5.5% gradient climb, drops down again and then climbs towards to Sa Colobra road. After you turn off the Ma10 the road climbs for about a mile before it drops down, continuing for 6.5-miles to the small village of Sa Colobra. It's a quick decent but reality strikes at the bottom ... this is a cul-de-sac and there's only one way out, the same 6.5 miles at an average gradient of 7%. And, given that the first mile or so of road is relatively gentle, that means the switch backs further up the climb rise with a steeper slope. It's a great climb and worth the effort.
