Route JJ XMAS hills Classic v2  

Did this route two weeks ago: beautiful route, especially in the big circle Eltham-Christmas Hills-Hurstbridge. However, we were not expecting these hills to be so steep and plenty ;). This was a tough route but will try again. Thanks for posting.

Hi Daan, Thanks for the feedback glad you enjoyed it. This route is the result of a mate and I searching for quieter and more scenic roads each ride we did out this way. We then worked out how to link them together to create this loop. It's pretty tough, with lots of climbing out of gullies -This seems to be the nature of the terrain between the Yarra River and the Kinglake Range. The road from Arthur's Creek back to Hurstbridge is a good relief from this though as it follows the valley with only small undulations.
