Eine legendäre Mehrtagestour durch die Schweizer Alpen. Alpine Bike verbindet das Engadin mit dem Genfersee über eine Mischung aus Schotter- und Waldwegen, ruhigen Straßen und einigen kurzen Abschnitten auf befahrenerem Asphalt. Große Anstiege, hohe Pässe, Balkontrails und immer wieder beeindruckende Aussichten – Gletscher, Seen, Wiesen und Weinberge. Die Route ist als SwitzerlandMobility Route 1 ausgeschildert, daher ist die Navigation einfach. Man kann die gesamte Strecke fahren oder einzelne Etappen wählen – Bahnverbindungen erleichtern die Logistik. Die beste Jahreszeit ist von Sommer bis Früherbst; oben kann Schnee liegen und Gewitter ziehen schnell auf, also Kleidungsschichten einpacken und den Wetterbericht prüfen. Lange Tage mit echtem Höhenmeter-Input erwarten dich, ebenso zahlreiche Dörfer für Essen, Wasser und Kaffeepausen. Ideal für starke Fahrer, die eine Mischung aus MTB und Gravel auf klassischem Alpen-Terrain genießen.
