Kettering mit dem Fahrrad

The only route I've found so far to get from someplace people actually live in Dayton to one of their great bike trails without taking your life in your hands. The only tricky bit of this route is at the intersectin of S. Patterson and Schantz. Turn left (west) onto Schantz then immediately turn right into the parking lot behind the restaurant there. Continue on beside the building for about 75ft. then take the concrete path on the left down to the lower part of Patterson. Cross S. Patterson into Carillon Park. Cross the parking lot to connect with the bike path on the north side. From there just follow the trail. You may want to stop at Culps Cafe for a nice lunch mid ride. They are located near the southern corner of the parking lot. They even have a nice big bike rack near the door.
