Wray Castle and The Beatrix Potter Trail

This is our most popular route, crossing Windermere by ferry, following a scenic cycle route along the shores of Windermere, and stopping at Wray Castle, where you can explore both in and outdoors if you wish. What better family ride could there be? / Either return via the same route, or follow on round quiet tarmac lanes to explore Hawkshead and then Beatrix Potter's Hilltop Farm, before looping back to the ferry. / The out and back route is 90% off-road, the loop is 40% off-road with the remainder on quiet lanes.
