Torre Colimena This coastal tower, built against the Saracens, is one of the most unique due to its various architectural layers. Among the best preserved on the Ionian coast, it stands to defend a small fishing village of the same name from the sea. It houses a small museum of local ceramics. Reservations are recommended for interior visits. Fantastic sunsets, and it's very close to the most beautiful beaches of Messapia.

Torre di San Tommaso (Torre Lapillo) It is one of the largest in the area and was part of a series of similar buildings located along the coast for lookout purposes. The base is square, and a steep staircase, with three arches below, leads to the current entrance. Originally, there was no staircase; access was by ropes, making it impregnable. Later, arches were added, ending in front of the drawbridge. The final section of the staircase was therefore added in recent times.
