Bran "Dracula's" Castle to Medieval town of Brasov

We use a very nice and friendly guesthouse in Zarnesti - as the starting center for our ride today.

Start from Zarnesti, travel to the well known Bran Castle - Dracula's Castle, time to visit and explore the souvenir market.

Continue your journey to Rasnov - where you can explore the interesting Fortified Castle from the overlooking hill.

Not too far from the fortress you can stop and visit the Rasnov cave - a very small but interesting cave with stalacmite and stalactite.

The route continues towards the mountain resort of Poiana Brasov with a 8km challenging uphill; then a rewarding descent will take you down to the very center of the medieval town of Brasov.

Alternative dirt/gravel road can be used for descent.

Also alternative route - only flat - can be chosen to cycle to Brasov.
