Eden Valley and Hadrian's wall

An easy to moderate route that mainly tracks the N72 Hadrian's Wall East, with some local detours shown to offer acces to the River Eden and Hadrian's Wall, before returning westerly to Carlisle via Great Corby, Wetheral, Scotby and Harraby, crossing the river Petteril at 'Gallows Hill' to the South of the City - approximately 25 miles - allow between 4 to 6 hours including stops for sightseeing and refreshments (subject to individual ability and weather conditions) :-)
