This is a hefty route, mileage wise. However you have the advantage of being close to the bike superhighway called the Greenway Trail. From Franklin and Lyndale, hop over 2 blocks to Bryant Avenue and begin travelling south. Between 28th and 29th streets get on the Greenway Trail heading west. Stay on the Gateway Trail almost to Hopkins. At Blake Road you will be going south. Take a left on Blake Road and follow it to Vernon Avenue south. At Vernon go right, then at Gleason veer left. Take Gleason across the Crosstown (62) and get on the frontage road - called McCauley Trail South. Follow this around along hwy 62, and then down along 169. At Valley View Road you will go right. Travel along Valley View (crossing 169) to Prairie Center Drive. Be aware of sometimes heavy traffic here. At Prairie Center Drive go left (south again) and take this to Prairie Lakes Drive. At Prairie Lakes Drive go left and follow to your destination.
