2016 Ride Day 60 - Lodève to Sauve

This was one wonderful ride, with the exception of D999, which has little shoulder and often too much traffic. The route is a little convoluted since we unexpectedly (for the first time that we can remember) ran into "route barrée" signs that stopped us cold and had us adding many miles to our route. The added mileage, though, was all excellent riding and put us on roads that were new to us..

The first gorges that we went thorugh was like a mini-Grand Canyon. Simply marvelous. We recommend going from south to north, as the southside was indicated as 12% while the northside was indicated as 10%.
