2nd Grade Blue Green

General Information:

• The entire trip will take place on the sidewalks unless otherwise indicated.
• Warm-up ride on the playground and students will be placed into their groups and meet chaperones.
• Blue & Green Groups are broken into smaller groups ( there will be two Blue and Two Green totally ~21 students.
• There are not alot of street crossings but it is expected that student walk bikes across the street.

Ride itself:

1. Walk bikes to front of school (10th Street)
2. Turn Right onto Fraklin Stree and ride to 12th St. NE.
3. Turn Right on to 12th St NE and ride to Evarts Street
4. Turn Right on Evarts and ride to 10th St
5. Ride to Franklin Street.
6. Cross at the light and Turn Left toward Bridge.
7. Ride across Bridge on Fraklin to 7th Street NE
8. Cross Left and Ride along Edgewood Street NE until you reach the Metropolitan Branch Bike Trail.
9. Take that Trail as far as L St NE (Distance will depend on student progress, time and or fatigue)
10. Return trip will follow the same path
11. Ride ends at Noyes Park where students will take picture and complete closure activity.
