This 28th section of St Ninian’s Way starts at Falkirk railway station and town centre and continues along John Muir Way to Callendar House and park (1 km) . Enter park and continue along JMW passing house and then south to join the Union Canal (3 km) and Bike Route 754. Then go east along canal (JMW and BR 754) to Polmont (3 km), and on to the dramatic Avon Aqueduct (5 km). Here, leaving JMW, continue along BR754 and canal to centre of Linlithgow (4 km) .
Through stately parkland, along canal towpaths and over the famous Avon Aqueduct to Linlithgow with a magnificent view of Linlithgow Palace.
