Il sentiero dei Mulini

Il sentiero dei mulini prende il via dal borgo Crisnaro a Savogna. Il nome del sentiero deriva dal fatto che, lungo il sentiero, si incontrino ben sette mulini dei sedici censiti in zona. Mulini che in passato aiutavano il sostentamento degli abitanti. Salendo per la strada asfaltata in direzione Stermizza, si passa per Ieronizza tagliando per il sentiero. Si svolta per Pechinie e nei pressi dell’abitato si prende la carrareccia che diventerà sentiero conducendoci a Costa, in comune di San Pietro al Natisone. Arrivati a Vernas- sino, sotto il paese si prende il sentiero che ci ricondurrà a Savogna. Il percorso è tabellato.

The Mill track starts by borough Crisnaro in Savogna vil- lage. The track take it’s name by the fact that on your way you nd seven of the sixteen mills of the surrounding areas that used to provide supplies to the population. Going up by the paved road in the direction of Stermizza you nd a path that bring you across Ieronizza. Turn to Pechinie and near the inhabited area take the white road that will become a path leading to Costa, in the munici- pality of San Pietro al Natisone. Once in Vernassino, take the path that leads you back to Savogna. The route is tabulated.
