CPB (Costa / Paisatges Barcelona): Route 10

This is an expert level ride with some incredible views. Starting out along the coast, leaving Sitges towards the Northeast, the route heads through Castelldefels, then turns inland (and sharply uphill) at Gava. A steep 8km climb to the Coll de Begues follows. From there, the remaining 75km on average are descending to sea level, but the ride is not without a series of 1km to 3km rolling climbs, which sap the legs. Nearing the coast riders are treated to a lovely ride around the reservoir and dam of Foix, before sweeping down to the seaside.

You will find this route and many more in Catalonia, on the Catalan Tourism Board’s map, here: http://act.gencat.cat/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/Mapa-guia-Rutes-ENG-baixa.pdf
