Welcome to Nantucket, and thank you for exploring with FeeThings Travel & Creative!

We have created a custom bike route exploring the South Shore of Nantucket Island. Starting at 21 Broad Hotel, you will journey through the historic backstreets of downtown Nantucket before continuing on to the long sandy beaches and dunes of the South Shore. Make your way past local farms, ponds, gardens and of course Cisco Brewery, taking time to stop for a swim or lunch at one of our favorite local spots. On your way back, venture down the dirt roads along Miacomet Pond before returning to town for some harborside vistas and historic Brant Point Lighthouse.

On your route, please note the points of interest or refer to the notes below, in order to make the most out of your experience!

Points of Interest:

• The Oldest House: The Jethro Coffin House on Sunset Hill was built in 1686, and is believed to be the oldest residence on Nantucket still on its original site. Built as a wedding gift for Jethro Coffin and Mary Gardner, the house represents the unity of two of the island’s oldest families.

• Prospect Hill Cementery: Historic cementery at the center of the island.

• 167 Fish Market: A perfect place to stop for lunch pre/post beach, with a food truck, beer garden and selection of specialty picnic items. Home to our favorite Lobster Roll on island!

• Cisco Brewery: A right of passage on island, stop into the bustling brewery for some local beer or flavored vodka. Live music and food trucks daily.

• Bartlett's Farm: Nantucket's largest farm with full grocery store, beer, wine and snack counter. Another great option for lunch or snacks for the beach.

• Cisco Beach: A favorite beach among surfers and sunbathers alike, Cisco is one of the most popular beach on-island.

• Miacomet Pond: Enjoy the dirt backroads of Nantucket as you pass though the fields of conservation land towards Miacomet Pond.

PLEASE NOTE: A portion of this bike is on dirt roads, between Bartlett's Farm and Miacomet Pond. If you are not comfortable biking on such terrain please refrain and backtrack on Hummock Pond Rd. towards Miacomet Golf Course.

*PLEASE NOTE that although much of this route is accessible by bike paths, please exercise caution on portions without designated bike lanes, dirt roads, and when at intersections.
