Using the Ilmtalweg, starting in Ilmenau and finishing in Weimar at the train station. There is only a little ascent on this route, the road is mostly asphalt, mostly separate from car roads. In towns/villages you need to go on main roads, but they're empty most of the time anyway.

Cu trenul Interregional de la ora 10:50 din Cluj, au locuri pentru biciclete, către Bonțida.  Ieșire din Bonțida spre Sic, drum de țară care se cam pierde prin iarbă, peste un deal abrupt și greu de urcat cu orice (am împins bițele la deal), apoi în jos pe panta lină spre Sic pe drum tot de silt/…

Easy route with slight elevation, on an old train track that is now a bike path (professionally made with high quality asphalt). You have to go through the castle park in Gehren because of construction work on Schloßallee.
