The route is a gentle loop around the outskirts of town. Mostly flat, the path is mostly undulating, with a few short hills. The ascent is a small portion of the route, and the descent is equally small. The path is paved and mostly smooth.

The route begins in the town of Elmsford and takes riders through the rolling countryside to the village of Ashwood. The route climbs gently through the countryside, with a maximum elevation of roughly 68 metres. It then descends into Ashwood village, where riders can stop for refreshments.
