Tour des Côtes du Rhône à vélo

Set out for a bike ride in the heart of the Côtes du Rhône vineyard. On the agenda: a ribbon of asphalt winding between vineyards and villages, sections along the river, and a southern atmosphere. The route favors quiet backroads, with some busier sections and brief stretches of track/path. Nothing technical, but 28–32 mm tires add comfort.

The terrain is fairly hilly: small climbs alternate between hillsides and plateaus, with elevation gain spread over time. The Mistral wind can blow, and summer can be hot; spring and autumn are perfect.

Choose your starting point and break the route into stages as you like. Take breaks at wine cellars, wander stone villages, and enjoy views of the vineyards and Rhône valley.

Quick tips: bring water and snacks, protect yourself from the sun, and be visible on busier sections. It’s a lovely getaway for curious cyclists, whether over several days or flexible rides.
