Leisure Cycle Route
A collection of 4 cycling routes.
Overview
About this collection
A relaxed, long-distance ride built for taking it easy. This collection covers roughly 122 km, mostly on quiet roads and proper cycleways, with a few short paths and tracks thrown in. Surfaces are largely paved (lots of asphalt), with some brief gravel, paving stones, and cobbles—touring or hybrid bikes are perfect, and 32–40 mm tires feel great.
The terrain stays mellow overall: about 485 m of climbing and 495 m of descent across the whole thing, so it’s rolling rather than steep. You’ll pass through some town areas and pedestrian zones—roll slow and be courteous. There are a couple of short busy-road links, so bring lights and ride alert.
There’s no fixed start or finish, so just hop on where it suits you. Do a big day, cherry-pick a section, or split it over two for a more relaxed pace. It’s e‑bike friendly and ideal if you want smooth kilometers without technical trails.
