Cycling in Vasvár

HU Ez az útvonal Vasvár kiinduló- és végponttal Vas megye délkeleti csücskét barangolja be dimbes-dombos utakon, keresztülszelve a híres Jeli-arborétumot is. A város jó kiindulópont több útvonalra is, így többnapos csillagtúrázáshoz is alkalmas megszállni itt. Vasvártól délkeletre is ajánljuk Gersekarát, Szarvaskend és Döröske környékét kerékpározásra, amerre túraútvonalat ugyan nem vázoltunk, azonban jó néhány érdekességet felsoroltunk a látnivalók között. Vasvárról a Petőfi Sándor utcán kerekezünk ki Oszkóra, ahonnan egy újabb domb megmászása után érkezünk le Csehi szélére a völgyben. A faluszélen jobbra kanyarodunk, majd a Rákóczi Ferenc utcán érkezünk be Bérbaltavárra, ahol a körforgalomnál balra kanyarodunk, és észak fele a 7334. sz. alacsony forgalmú úton érjük el Mikosszéplakot, majd innen tovább északi irányban Csehimindszentet, ahol a távnak nagyjából a felénél meg is pihenhetünk Mindszenty József szülőházánál. A főútun továbhaladva, majd elhagyva a falut, érünk el Csipkerekre, ahonnan a falu szélén, még az aszfaltút kanyarja előtt térünk át a földútra, ami a dombon átvisz minket Szemenyére, aminek főutcáján át, a patak keresztezésével jutunk át Kámra. Kámról a benzinkút után térünk le a Jeli-arborétum felé, amelyet tábla is jelez. Az arborétum meglátogatása után átvágunk a dombon, hogy elérjük az Oszkó-Vasvár utat, ahonnan indultunk, ezen érünk vissza Vasvárra.   DE Diese Route beginnt und endet mit Vasvár und fürt durch hügeligen Straßen durch den südöstlichen Teil des Komitats Vas, überquerend das berühmte Arboretum Jeli. Die Stadt ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für eine Reihe von Routen. Daher ist es auch möglich, mehrtägige Touren (Sternwanderungen) zu absolvieren. Wir empfehlen die Gegend von Gersekara, Szarvaskend und Döröske zum Radfahren. Die Wanderwege im Südosten von Vasvár haben wir nicht kizziert, jedoch haben wir einige interessante Sehenswürdigkeiten aufgelistet. Von Vasvár über die Petőfi Sándor utca geht es nach Oszkó, von wo aus wir einen weiteren Hügel „hochklettern” und danach dem Rand des Csehi im Tal erreichen. Am den Rand des Dorfes biegen wir rechts ab, und erreichen Bérbaltavár aud der Rákóczi Ferenc Straße, wo wir am Kreisverkehr links abbiegen und dann Richtund Norden auf der Straße Nr 7334 Mikosszéplak erreichen. Weiter nach Norden geht es nach Csehimindszent, der sich ungefähr an der Hälfteder Strecke befindet, wo wir uns ein bischen beim Haus (Geburtsort) von Mindszenty József auch ausruhen können. Wir fahren weiter an der Hauptstraße und nachdem wir den Dorf verlassen haben und nach Csipkerek gekommen sind, kommen wie auf eine unbefestigte Straße, noch vor der Kurve der Asphaltstraße am rand des Dorfes.  Diese unbefestigte Straße bringt uns dur einen Hügel nach Szemenye, durch wessen Hauptstaße überquerend den Bach wir nach Kám kommen. Wir fahren von Kám nach der Tankstelle zum Jeli-Arboretum, das auch mit einem Schild gekennzeichnet ist. Nachdem wir das Arboretum besucht haben, überqueren wir den Hügel, um den Weg Oszkó-Vasvár zu erreichen, von wo aus wir losgefahren sind um nach Vasvár zurückkehren zu können.   EN This route starts and ends in Vasvár and discovers the hills of the southeastern area of Vas county while crossing the famous Jeli Arboretum. The city is a great spot for multi-day tours that all start and end here. Southeast of Vasvár we also recommend Gersekara and the area of Szarvaskend and Döröske – we don’t have particular routes but there are some interesting sights among the points of interests. Leave Vasvár on Petőfi Sándor utca towards Oszkó where after a hill you arrive to Csehi in the valley. At the edge of the village turn right then reach Bérbaltavár on Rákóczi Ferenc utca, turn left at the roundabout and go to Mikosszéplak on the low traffic road 7334. This is the half of the route so you may take a break at the house József Mindszenty was born. Leave the village on the main road and reach the edge of Csipkerek where take the dirt road before the turn. This leads you through the hill to Szemenye and by crossing the stream and its main road you reach Kám. After the gas station, turn towards Jeli Arboretum that also has a sign along the road. After visiting the Arborertum cross the hill to reach the Oszkó-Vasvár road you started from and go back to Vasvár.
