Cycling in Rimetea

Tura asta este cu plecare din Rimetea, pe asfalt prin Coltesti, Valisoara, Poiana Aiudului. de acolo pe valea inzelului la deal, pana la drumul de Ramet. Pe urma, pana in Bradesti. De aici, la vale cam 1km spre Valea Poienii, de unde se face dreapta pe un drum ce urca in Bedeleu si il traverseaza, se intalneste cu banda rosie. Pe urma a urmat o traversare mai 'salbatica" pana la drumul ce coboara la Izvoarele (pe langa valea Bedeleu, la incepout). iar la sfarsit, pe asfalt inapoi la Rimetea.

Froma Rimetea drive under Coltii Trascaului avoiding the asphalt to Coltesti. Than through Cheile Aiudului (very nice gorges !) in Poiana Aiudului take to the right through Valea Inzelului to Bradesti where you will be rewarded by the nice upper view of Cheile Rimetului. From Bradesti take the road to the right to Valea Poieni and at the first intersection once again to the right where you will climb to Dealu Franca (follow the red tourist line). Untill you reach the top you will have nice views of the surrounding mountains (in good weather you can see Fagaras as well!) At 1112 m take it to the right on a tourist road where you will descend and leave 3 peasant houses on your right side. After the 3rd house the road bends to left untill you meet the forest road wich will guide you to Valea Inzelului ...don't miss the small waterfall on your left side. When you reach Valea Inzelului take the same road you climbed already in the morning for ~2km and take to the left (some bike pushing will be necessary depending on your skills and the vegetation not a bad investment for the later views) ... climb Dealul Curmaturii where you will follow the yellow tourist line on the ridge untill a certain point when you will see under you Izvoarele ! Incredible nice view of the valley with all the peaks and the Thorockay fortress as well !!!! Follow the road to Rimetea from where you started !   (cloned from route 1213509)
