By bicycle from Sector 3 to Cățelu

A quick, easy roll from Sector 3 to Cățelu, heading southeast for about 7.3 km on fully paved roads. It’s essentially flat with a gentle net downhill (roughly 7 m up, 23 m down), so it’s beginner-friendly or a relaxed after-work spin. Most of the route sticks to quiet neighborhood streets, with a short busier connector—stay alert as you approach the outskirts where light industrial traffic appears.

Sector 3 is one of Bucharest’s largest districts and home to big green spaces like Titan Park; as you leave the city edge, the scenery opens up toward Ilfov. Cățelu sits in Glina commune, right outside Bucharest near the ring road and A2, where urban blocks give way to fields and warehouses.
