Cycling day trip from Portimão to Lagos

This ride takes you from Portimão to Lagos, two gems of Portugal’s Algarve coast, covering just over 31 km with gentle hills along the way. You’ll start in the lively riverfront city of Portimão, famous for its seafood and golden Praia da Rocha beach. From there, pedal through mostly quiet country roads (you’ll love the peace—67% of the route!), rolling past orange groves, cork oaks, and the occasional whitewashed village.
